As well as Othello has his wife (Desdemona) die in his arms. Othello says “in your letters {you should} speak of me as I am” (5:2:238). So with everything going on, it is too hard for Othello, so he takes matters into his own hands and kills himself. Unfortunately, Lago achieved his revenge on Othello and got what he wanted. Although there were so many deaths, he had to watch Cassio receive the offer of Othello’s place; before he too was tortured and killed for having a part in the other deaths and activities that he was involved in. Which is crazy because he was jealous of Cassio and not Othello. Othello was always standing tall in every situation that he acted in, as though he was the war general. It was Othello, who was tricked by Lago due to his position that he was in. Desdemona had given her heart to Othello by the adventures and wars that he was involved in. Although when the war was over in the Cyprus he felt as he had nothing left to prove to anyone, so he thought.
