Among the four factors in the SWOT analysis the weakness can be considered as an internal qualitative factor. This helps to examine the current issues and to explore proactive measures for the problem that is being faced by the organization’s business. Certain kind of internal factors that is to be considered for weakness are, human resources, physical resources, financial etc. The SWOT analysis will help to identify and compare how each factor impact on Trader Joe’s market entry, competitiveness, and profitability upon Farm Boy. In Trader Joe, they have faced problem of recalling the products, which affected badly in company reputation. Since they lost their customer’s trust in the current market, it does not seem that Trader Joe would become a great competitor for Farm Boy. Customer’s trust and demand has great role to withstand in the market. Once it is lost, it is very hard to regain trust among the consumers and company should struggle a lot to bring the market value up. Since, Farm Boy could achieve people’s trust through their quality product, Trader Joe cannot achieve the customer’s trust and demand easily Also, the slim presence in social media can also affects Trader Joe’s demand in market. As social medias are a kind of advertisement, it can widely influence customers. If they give less importance in social medias, it would be very difficult to reach the customers. Moreover, the limited selection of products will reduce customer attraction. Always, in the food industry, those customers who are very conscious in food are always look for different variety of food and, Farm Boy is successful in providing different kind of fresh organic products. This always maintains its need in market, and is quite difficult for Trader Joe to compete with Farm Boy in the Market.
