Tracking Sheet
When I look at my Tracking Sheet, I can clearly see that my income is about $700 while my expenses are around or above $840. It can be clearly seen that I am not saving anything, However, I am losing about a $100 every month from my checking account. The money in my checking account has been built from family aid and work during the summer. I don’t think I am in a terrible situation, but I am still losing more than a $100 every month. This might affect me over a longer term as a year, if you add that to any unpredicted payments. One thing that I can do to lower my spending is to eat outside less than I do.
Net Worth Statement
As for me net worth statement. It was rather simple enough. As a foreign student, I don’t have owned properties nor investments. I also don’t have any student’s loans or mortgage payments. I only have one credit card and it’s all paid. So, I don’t have any liabilities. My net worth comes to $3,933, which consists of $100 in cash, $3583 in my checking account, and $250 in my savings account. I think that my net worth statement looks great since I don’t have any upcoming payments. My summer is already paid, and my part-time job supports my life expenses. This shows that I am losing more than a $140 every month from the money in my bank account. It can be clearly seen that eating outside for me is a bit costly. If this number is to go down to $50 with adding more money on groceries, it would make the numbers much closer. However, as a full-time student, I don’t think that this difference is a big deal, regarding how much time it can
