Track Admissions Essay: A Passion In Life

Have you ever had a passion that you want to follow you through life. Well, I have a passion that I know will follow me through life and that passion is track. Ever since I did track in the 7th grade, I knew I was gonna do it again in the 8th grade. Track was always fun to me and I had the best events to do. I had a good coach and good teammates. But there was always pressure on me when I was doing my events in a meet. But I always put that pressure aside. Track in 7th grade made me work hard for something I wanted like City Champs but we didn’t get it last year. We 4th place but this year, we are gonna be in the top 3. This year in track, my goal is to not place 4th and under. Imma try to get 3rd and higher and make all my events varsity even though my events in 7th grade we're all varsity but still you …show more content…
Track is a motivation to never give up. “Look up, get up, but never give up,” quote from Mohanad Fadel and Google Images. Track can keep you in shape like Nadeem but he gained the weight back in under a week. City was fun because it was our last meet and we missed half of school. Then Cedar Point was the next day which made that the best week of my life. But let’s not get off track and let’s go back to talking about track. So, track is a really fun and it is a good way to know other people. And other people can know you better. Some events in track is fun like high jump, long jump, shot put, and relays and there are many other fun events. I recommend you doing track because track can keep you in shape and if you want to gain speed for other sports like football and basketball, then do track. The first week of track is stressful and gets you sore but you will get used to it by the second week and
