In the essay “Toys” by Ronald Barthes the author talks about how toys that are given to children will help them prepare for their future and adult life. Some of these toys will help them be good citizens and successful adults in the future. However, not only the toys are the ones that are going to help these children but the values that each parent imprints in their daily life will help them as well. As Ronald Barthes states the little doll that urinates and does other business in her diaper also helps them prepare for their adult life because it lets any girl know that when they feed the baby doll or when they feed their own child that they are going to eventually have the need to lets everything they ate out and they will need to change the diaper (Barthes 53). These little pale dolls are very useful for little girls however, it could also help little boys learn how to change a diaper and learn when and why the diaper needs to be changed on a
