Toy Story

Toy Story is a movie that takes place in many different settings and environments. We start with a young child, Andy who has many different toys, which are differentiated by their personalities. The significance of the different settings is that they bring out the true personalities of the toys in the movie, whether it was in Andy’s room or out in the “real” world. Depending on the environment they are in, some of the toys show kindness and leadership, others shyness and anger. Andy started with his first toy, Woody, and from there, his room gradually grew and thrived with many different toys. Being around all of these different toys had caused Woody to stand up due to him being the first toy of the room he thought he was best qualified to …show more content…
Woody changed the most due to a new toy, Buzz Lightyear, to show up in the toy room. This toy, as loyal and smart as he seemed, was also oblivious to the truth and never deterred from his mission. This includes sabotaging other competitors, like Buzz, to rid of them or make them look bad. Woody also does not take kindly to orders, which is what makes him easily prone to get angry and lie. Woody, as heroic and strong as he seems is also interpreted as short-tempered and an attention …show more content…
Most of the time he is shy and soft-spoken but when a topic that contains Woody is brought into the picture, he is more bold and assertive. I see Slink as Woody’s biggest fan, kind of like his deputy, he follows in Woody’s footsteps. Due to his admiration for Woody, he always tries to make Woody into something bigger than he is. This causes Slink to be calm, collective and always thinking positively. At some points in the movie, he can be very helpful and yet clueless which is what makes Slink so unique in the

It's rare you'll find a life-affirming film about the walking dead, and even less so one that's aimed at children, but Tim Burton's Corpse Bride is just that. Using stop-motion animation to gorgeously ghoulish effect, the creative team who brought you The Nightmare Before Christmas have crafted a fairytale that's both refreshingly original and enchantingly old-fashioned. In the sound booth, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are pitch perfect as the newlyweds who flout the clause 'till death do us…
