Toy dog breeds have become a major part of the families they are members of, they bring joy and happiness to their families. People who are first time pet owners find that the toy breeds make a great choice for them. Toy breed dogs are much easier to handle than larger dogs, they eat less and shed less. But many owners find it hard to be firm with these breeds, because of their ability to melt hearts with their cute looks and warm dispositions. A few of the breeds that fall into the toy dog group are: the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, the Chihuahua, the Miniature Pinscher and the Pug.
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel descended from the King Charles Spaniel. Which were interbred with Pugs to produce a smaller dog with a flatter nose,
