The Vacation of Terror

It was a windy, and gloomy, October day in the parks of Disney World. As I was walking around the parks the wind whirled through hair and swirled through the trees. My family and I were strolling together around the park. My mother and grandparents were guiding us to a surprise ride. I didn't have a clue what it was till we turned the corner, then the first thing that caught my eye was The Tower of Terror. When I saw the tower I froze in fear, and my terror of the trip began.

The Tower of Terror is set up like a spooky, old elevator. The ride has three rows of three seats on each side of the elevator. The elevator door opens and closes on different floors, each time when the doors open you see the whole Disney park from high up. Then comes a sudden drop, I didn't see it coming the first time it dropped. I was screaming the entire ride after that. There was this awful feeling of my heart pausing and thinking that the ride would collapse all the way down. When the drop has stopped on a different floor, I felt a continuous, heavy breathing. It was honestly one of the scariest things I've done in my life.

I'm thankful my family convinced me to ride it because it turned out to be very amusing and entertaining, even though I was petrified most of the ride. I would definitely go on the ride

I was confident that I would be able to go on and enjoy the experience. My confidence quickly evaporated when we began climbing up the roller coaster’s first hill. The ride dropped, and I was screaming so loudly that I could only hear myself.…

In October 2001, just one month after the tragic September 11 attacks on the twin towers, Prime Minister Jean Chrétien pledged to support the United States. It was announced that Canada would join a UN-approved NATO coalition attack in Afghanistan (in order to support the United States). The purpose of this was to find and neutralize al-Qaeda which was a global militant Islamist organization. In addition, the main goal was to track and hunt down Osama Bin Laden, the leader of al-Qaeda, since the Taliban government refused to reveal Bin Laden’s hiding place. The province that Canada was responsible for was Kandahar, which was presumably the most dangerous province in Afghanistan.…

There was a rush through my body thinking, Wow, that was fun!! We have gone on a lot more rides, by the end of the day. My favorite ride was that there was three different slides that are pitch dark and you get one soft mate and you go up a small set of wooden stairs then you race down the slide and the reason I loved it was because it takes about four seconds to get to the bottom of the slide but it feels like it takes a minute. A lot of the rides were fun some scary, and some adrenaline pumping. Ashley was tired and we had went on the rides we wanted to go on, so we had paid to get are belongings.…
