Dubai is one of the major cities in the UAE. Dubai is located south of the Persian Gulf on the Arabian Peninsula. Dubai is located on the emirate's northern coastline and has the largest population with the second-largest land territory by area of all the emirates, after Abu Dhabi. Dubai is surrounded by Saudi Arabia on its southern and western borders while northern and eastern borders are shared with the Sultanate of Oman. The neighbouring cities of Dubai are Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Sharjah and Umma al-Quwain.

Disadvantages of tourism in Dubai
Having too much tourism in Dubai can have a bad effect on the area, for example in Dubai many tourist tend to litter a lot of garbage on the floor and they don’t care because they are an international tourist and it is not their environment. Having too much tourists also lowers the quality of landscape and historic sites. Dubai is well known for its stylish cars so many tourists want to ride them seeing it can be their only chance this does not only cause a lot of air pollution and causes the atmosphere to damage, but it also causes a lot of noise pollution a story on emirate 24/7 (a news show) said that is was 10:45pm and a tourist drove down the road near Jumeirah Beach and the sound of the engine was very loud and the tourist also took down the window and turned up the music it disturbed the residents in the surrounding area. When there are too much tourism in Dubai it becomes very crowed such as the beaches all the spaces on the beach will be taken and it won’t be fair for the local residents. Another point is that Dubai is taken advantage from the tourist by raising the prices on goods, but they don’t think about the locals how they can’t
