Toula is 30 years old and she lives with her parents and her other brother . She works at the restaurant that her parents own which is called “ Dancing Zorba’s.” Her parents think highly of their culture , they want Toula to be like her older sister Athena ; to be married to a Greek man and have Greek kids . One day when Toula was at the restaurant she was stunned by a tall man . She was left speechless and she had walked over there to give them more “coffee” and she was making a fool of herself .
