Chapter I
Introduction
Parents have different ways on how they will disciplined their children it is either strict or permissive. What kind of parents do you have? The first question that comes in my mind when doing this advocacy. Do we have the same kind of parents? Parents that always says “NO” to everything? No smoking, drinking alcohol and books before boys. When you are asking for a permission to go somewhere else there are two possible answers: First, they will not allow you and the second is that they allow you but you will have a curfew. There are rules and regulation in the house that you need to follow if you don’t want your parents to lectured, insulted or punished you. There are children that misunderstood how their parents disciplined them and it leads to rebellion. They think that they are being controlled, lots of limitations, full of demands and expectations. It depends on them how they will make their child the best that they can be. I realized that I should not envy those teenagers that have permissive parents because mine are the best parents that everyone could ever have. Yes, maybe all of you called it strict but I call it Parenting. After doing this advocacy I understand my parents and why they act like that towards me. And I can say that I am lucky to have them as my parents. Parents are there to guide you it depends on you if you will accept all their advice and took that as an advantage instead of rebelling towards them and destroy your
