It is when we need to exercise or put a certain skill into a training program so that we can become better at the sport. It relates to touch rugby because if we practised on a certain skill like passing you will get better at your passing so come to the game you will have a better pass then you had before because your technique is different.

Progressive overload is us pushing our body and putting stress upon the body during exercise training. It is when you push your body to the state where it cannot continue or go further anymore. This is how people get fitter and build themselves more muscle. In touch rugby you could do shuddles and push yourself to the limit you could start of with a smaller space and add on a further space you have to run to. How does it relate to Touch Rugby?
It is like a recovery time you have to let your body rest to be able to recover so that you can play at 100 percent on the game day if you keep training everyday your body will not be recovered meaning you will not be at your best at the game. It relates to touch rugby because if you dont rest you will not be able able to think and play to your full potential.
Time (Duration) - What is it? How does it relate to Touch Rugby?
Duration/time is like the lenght of a training sesion or a training program. If you wanted a good workout you would have a higher intensity but a lower time frame to get the same result he would have with a longer time frame but less the intensity. So for my fitnesss i could run at 100 percent and only have a shorter time
