Torrey Pines: Your One Stop Shop to Hike, Dine, Play & Stay

When you hear the words Torrey Pines, do you immediately picture golf clubs and neatly groomed fairways? Being the venue for the U.S. Open in years past, there’s no denying that Torrey Pines is home to one of the most pristine golf courses this side of the Pacific. Golfing aside, however, believe me when I say Torrey Pines has so much more to offer than 18 holes. Read on to learn about everything this one-stop-shop locale has to offer.

Hike

Located alongside the golf course at Torrey Pines is the must-see Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. Hike along the sandy bluffs and gaze into the sky and sea backdrop. If you begin your hike atop of the cliffs, you’ll find yourself on a downward walk, getting closer and closer to the ocean below. What better way to cool off at the conclusion of a hike than to take a dip in the blue Pacific.
