Torrence flipped through the book, not really paying it any attention, instead his gaze landed on Tamica Johnson. His heart raced a little. He looked around to see if anyone was looking at him. He whispered to himself "Today is the day," and "It's now or never." Among other personal mantras in hopes to attain the courage needed.
