Toronto, known as the fourth largest city in North America can be considered the best city for students to live in and pursue their career. It promotes dynamic and innovative events and festivals to celebrate the richness and diversity of this great city, enriching the quality of life for residents. During the winter and summer there are events that bring you outdoors and enjoy the wonderful weather such as the Winterlicious, the Toronto Christmas market, Canadian international auto show, Canadian music week, pride Toronto festival, summerlicious and Cavalcade of lights. There are plenty of ways to be active in such society by going exploring, in the winter, Nathan Phillips Square, Harbourfront Centre, and Mel Lastman Square feature popular rinks for public ice-skating. Earl Bales Park offer outdoor skiing and snowboarding slopes with a chairlift, rental facilities, and lessons. Several parks have marked cross-country skiing trails. Each summer, the Canadian Stage Company presents an outdoor Shakespeare production in Toronto's High Park called "Dream in High Park". Toronto's Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival known as Caribana takes place from mid-July to early August of every summer, which also portrays one of Toronto’s diverse environments. In addition since Toronto is a multicultural city there are plenty of opportunities for you to learn new languages through people and enhance your communication
