The Toronto Raptors has successfully navigated their way to the Eastern Conference Finals for the very first time in franchise history.
The Raptors defeated the Miami Heat in their best-of-seven East Semis series four games to three and advances to face the conference defending champions Cleveland Cavaliers, who were undefeated in the postseason.
The LeBron James Cavaliers swept all their opponents from the Detroit Pistons in the First-Round to the Atlanta Hawks in the Second-Round of the 2016 NBA playoffs.
"It's great to hear the home crowd," DeRozan said. "This organization deserves it, this country deserves it, to see them get to the next step, somewhere they haven't been. But we're not done yet."
The Canadian-based basketball team battles it out to earn the ballclub’s first appearance to the East’s Finals. They were the second-best ball squad during the regular season having won 56 games in 82 matches played.
