Vince Lombardi once said, “Leaders aren’t born they are made. They are made by hard effort, which is the price which all of us must pay to achieve any goal which is worthwhile.” (Top 10 Vince Lombardi Quotes by Brainy Quotes). Leadership is not limited to one person or one specific gender; leadership is in every person, the right people just have to find it within themselves. While it is believed that leadership is not for everyone, leadership is a quality that everyone should like to attain eventually in their lives because whether or not a person believes this but, leadership will help a person further themselves in life. Regardless of the age, gender, height, weight, or any other characteristics someone looks up to a person. If a person is an elder sibling then they have younger siblings looking up to them and the younger siblings might have cousins, nieces, and/nephews that look up to them. In “The 5 Levels of Leadership”, John Maxwell explains that everyone is a leader. They might not be a level five (pinnacle) …show more content…
A leader will not act as a dictator or micromanage, but a leader will give constructive criticism to the people that look up to them and any other person that is willing to listen and accept them as their leader as well. In “The Top 10 Qualities of a Greater Leader”, Tanya Prive shows that a leader is not someone to rule with an iron fist, but is actually a normal person that does a fantastic job at pushing those around them to accomplish their goals using ten qualities such as: honesty, communication, confidence, positive, attitude, creativity, intuition, inspiration, and approach. A person that has these qualities and uses them to push the people around them to accomplish their goals is the what the true meaning of leadership
