Tootown Case Study Cogmageddon

Well, for starters, I would want to implement a “Cogmageddon.” Yes, I know, it’s a thing that everybody wants, though, not many people have discussed or came up with any ideas to how the story would flow. Now, referring to my sample story in my application, I mentioned something about an upcoming “Cogmageddon” a few times and how the Chairman has created a plan while us toons participated in other activities such as boss battles and riding the trolley, rather than focusing on the main problems that are in the way of the Tooniverse finally being the happy, silly place we all know without any complications. I believe my sample story could be a part of the prologue for this implementation, where other parts of it, could hint at how to prepare for it, and mainly, how to win it. Now, here’s the tricky part, the “Cogmageddon” would happen, but the toons could lose. Now, this is unlikely, but to add a more interesting twist, this should be an option. …show more content…
More importantly, what type of Toontown game would make it an either/or situation? As in, the toons could either win or they could lose. No one would expect it and the players would have to come up with some sort of strategy to beat this. In the event that the players lose, there could be an additional story line where the toons take back their Tooniverse. I have not planned that story line out YET, but it could be a series of tasks where each toon is obligated to complete each of them, to take back their Tooniverse. Now, that storyline shouldn’t be as long, because the players could easily get sick of it all and take a disliking to the game in

Additionally, Plaintiff appears to contend that Bethel Ridge was negligent to leave Mr. Tolley unattended outside for a very brief moment while a nurse went inside—at Mr. Tolley’s request—to retrieve his lighter so that he may smoke. It is unrealistic, however, to contend that Bethel Ridge had a duty to continuously and specifically monitor every one of Mr. Tolley’s actions. In determining, the extent of Bethel Ridge’s duty, generally applicable hornbook law would suggest that a Court would weigh the probability of potential harm and the gravity of the potential harm against the burdens that would be required to reduce the harm. See Palsgraf v. Long Island R. Co., 162 N.E. 99, 100-01 (N.Y. 1928) (J. Cardozo). In this case, it is unlikely that a court would find that Bethel Ridge had a duty to have Mr. Tolley continuously and individually monitored such that Bethel Ridge staff could not leave him for a moment to complete an errand at his request.…

Hedges and Sacco begin the chapter, Days of Destruction, with Larry Gibson who explains his childhood living on the mountain. He describes what his life was like then and now, showing that the land is barely recognizable. The land that his family once owned, went from 500 acres to 50. I feel like this relates to many properties in Michigan today. Trees, houses, and land are often torn apart to make room for something new, similar to what Gibson describes happened to the cemetery adjacent to his house.…

In 1607, Captain John Smith and hundreds of settlers sailed across the atlantic ocean and founded the first New England colony, Jamestown. They landed in modern-day Virginia and established a profit colony for the Virginia Company. However, the colonist had only temporary housing and minimal food supplies, plus a swampy environment on the James River caused disease and malnutrition killing someone almost everyday. The colonists also had encounters of the native indians near the settlement; some were hostile to the "invaders", but some had been friendly as well to the Englishmen. With more and more colonists arriving at Jamestown, the indians began to try to starve the English out as the were expanding and disrupting indian hunting and picking…

This event can be greatly explained through a functionalist sociological perspective. Functionalist perspective “seeks to explain social organization and change in terms of the roles performed by different social structures, phenomena, and institutions”(Chambliss & Eglitis 17). In which a French scholar, Émile Durkheim believes that any deviance acts such as Jim Jones’s actions, “serves social function” and “labeling some acts as deviant” reminds “members of society what is “normal” or “moral” ”(Chambliss & Eglitis 18). With that being said, I will be using the functionalist theoretical perspective in order to display how the evolution and formation of Jonestown impacted society.…

A person’s autonomy is a privilege that is earned through the knowledge gained through life experiences. For children, the right to decide is withdrawn because the parent’s are thought to know what is best in the circumstances concerning their children. The ability to understand and comprehend the severity of illness or the consequences of decisions is lacking in adolescents. They are deemed incapable of making informed decisions thus incompetent; therefore, the parents are given the authority to provide or deny consent on behalf of their children. Similarly, elderly who are experiencing deteriorating illnesses may have an altered competence due to being in denial or having fear of the outcome.…

Genocide was definitely committed in Australia. It was committed during the First Fleet, when the smallpox disease was released as a military necessity and during the time of the Stolen Generation (between 1910-1970). One prime example of genocide in Australia was the releasing of smallpox during the invasion of Australia in the First Fleet (1787). The British fought against the Aborigines and were in a ‘spot of trouble’. They had previously ordered ammunition and supplies prior to their departure and arrival to the coastland of Australia, but none of it actually arrived.…

Native American genocide has been going on since 1490, and acts of discrimination and violence are still going against them to this day. Around 12,000 years ago, some nomadic Asians traveled across a land bridge connecting Alaska to Asia. These 50 million people would soon become known as the Native Americans. Christopher Columbus proposed an idea to King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella. He wanted money and boats to go on a voyage to Asia on the West instead of the East.…
