In the world that humans live in today, social media is a growing to be a major part of society. Social media has the ability to keep people in touch with each other, stay up to date on recent news, and also just a place to put your thoughts. One thing I like about it is that a user can follow anybody. It doesn’t matter whether it is celebrities, athletes or just friends, it is possible to be able to see what everybody tweets. Another thing I like about twitter is that it has proven to be the most up to date source for news. Since news stations like CNN and Fox News have twitter accounts, they usually tweet the news with a link to the full story minutes after an event has taken place. Another thing that I like about twitter is that it is very simple. All a user does is tweet and direct message and that makes it very easy for a person to use. Although twitter is good, there are also a few things that I do not like about it. One thing is that a tweet can only be 140 characters or less which sometimes can be irritating. Another thing that bothers me is that a person can have their account locked if they tweet too much. It is called “twitter jail” and it sometimes can take away from the overall usage of the social media site. Just like with Facebook, I only have two dislikes with Twitter and I still like the social media site and will continue to use
