"Everybody gets so much information all day long that they lose their common sense" (stein). In the three stories there are numerous examples of ways that technology takes the role of parents, and completely destroys a family. By the Waters of Babylon” by Benet and “The Veldt”, they both show numerous examples of that too much technology is bad. In the velvet, the parents spoil the kids with the nursery so much; that the nursery takes the role of the parents. In the story it shows how that too much technology is a bad thing. It relates to us in real life because in a lot of family's home there is a lot of instances where technology takes over and spoils the children.
