If you’re a kid, you are not fully developed with the knowledge of whether is this right or wrong. As you start becoming a young adult, your brains develop automatically; improve thoughts and generate helpful information. The side effects occur when your body is fully functioned at the age of twenty-four and you’ll feel like going back into past, so you can change every decision you made. For example, when I was a kid, I fell couple of times and the marks are stationary visible which I regret today not just because of mark but I opposed my parents even though the warned me. After reading “Too Much of a Good Thing” by Crister, kids should be developing rapidly with why should you listen to parents and make right decisions now, before it’s too late. In the text, Crister stated, “The cost in health care dollars to treat obesity 's medical consequences--from diabetes to coronary heart disease to a variety of crippling bone conditions--will eventually make the battle against HIV/AIDS seem inexpensive” [30]. This is how harmful can it be if fast-food becomes your daily habits and that one decision you make now; it can change your entire life, so apply every healthy information you get from others. Parents should be responsible for their child’s health issue due to overweight since they are the one who should take care of their child’s diet. Nowadays, there has been tremendous number of book published that provides healthy diet plans. Therefore, parents shouldn’t give their kids full freedom with food. Once one is used to his daily unhealthy plan, it becomes harder for parents to change the cycle and try to get one on track. Fast food businesses are increasing their profit for example, Crister says small amount of money can give you thousands of calories. People who have eat McDonalds as daily meal have resulted overweight. As a kid, they are unknowledgeable with the side effect, they will realize after certain age where they will want to go back to teenage and change it. Parents should speak up and get the diet books for more information so it is acceptable to let the child pick whatever diet plan they want or would want to try. If parents do not take responsibilities of child’s diet plan then the official line in McDonalds will keep increasing, as well as the number of overweight
