Tonya Harding whose full name is Tonya Maxene Harding is a former American figure skater and was also a two-time Olympian and a two-time Skate America Champion who has proved herself in her field. In the year 1991, she won the U.S. Figure Skating Championships followed by her second place in the World Championships and she is also the second women to complete a triple axel jump in the competition. At the Winter Olympic Games in 1992, she was able to take a silver medal at the world championships in Albertville, France and in the following year 1994, she was banned for life from the U.S. Figure Skating Association after pleading guilty to her hindering the prosecution

She has stopped attending David Douglas High School during her sophomore year and later earned GED. Tonya Harding has revealed that when she was 7 years old, she was physically and mentally abused by her mother and has also admitted to one instance hitting her daughter at an ice rink. She began working in herself for her up journey by being one competitive skater in the mid-1980s, by placing sixth at the 1986 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, fifth in 1987 and 1988 and then third place in the year 1989 and she was also considered as one of the most strong contender at the 1990 U.S. Figure Skating Championships after winning Skate America in 1989, but she suffered from flu and asthma and had a poor free skate. As a result, she dropped from second place after the original program to finish the seventh overall. Tonya Harding was a powerful skater but her role in the Kerrigan attack was widely been referenced in sitcom episodes, music videos and a primary campaign speech by Barack Obama. Talking about her feature and height, Tonya Harding has the height of 5 feet and 1 inches and weighs 62kg which suits her perfectly.
