There are a number of different related issues in this case due to the events taken place.
I think the overall and most importance question in regards with justice is ‘Was justice actually achieved’, the fact that a burglary and an opposing shot was taken makes the question of justice extremely complex.
In this situation you have to take on both thought of Tony being a victim and then the 16-year-old boy being a victim too as they were both victims of a crime.
Personally I feel justice was served as Tony Martin did send time in prison but I think he spend time there for the wrong reason.

Also I think complete justice would have been served with Tony serving jail time for this offence because he would have been punished for the death and use of an illegally used firearm. Also Tony serving time for this would have been a good thing in the public eye as after the mental effects of killing someone been taken out of society would overt the risk of a recurrence to society.
After the justice system being under pressure after making wrong decisions regarding the murder case which resulted in a public uproar. The decision to allow Fearon to sue Tony for mental and physical issues in my eyes was ridiculous and in many eyes made the system look very stupid. Firstly I feel Fearon should be held accountable for the death of Barras as he put Barras in the situation that allowed him to lose his life so young, Secondly I think Fearon shouldn’t be able to sue as he should be in prison himself for admittedly saying he had intensions of stealing from Tony Martian’s property.
And finally Fearon should be held accountable for anything that took place because no one forced him into that situation and ultimately he should have been
