Tony Dungy's Golden Rule Of Habit Change

The golden rule of habit change was effective by helping anyone change their habit. it has helped many people that suffered with alcoholism, obsessive-compulsive disorders any may other behavioral habits. The rule consisted of “If you use the same cue and provide the same reward you can change the habit”. Tony dungy used the rule in his coaching style and believed that it was the key to winning. He knew that players spend their lives building habits, and knew that there was a three-step rule to habits cue, routine, reward by attacking the middle step in the habit loop which was the routine he could change the habit. He wanted the players to stop making so many decisions during the game saying that “He wanted them to react automatically, habitually.’
