The protagonist in this book is Tony Dungy. Tony is a quiet and calm guy who follows the way of christ. Tony is always one to put himself after others, he is a very generous and loving man. When Tony got his job as a head coach he took a different approach at coaching than others did. Most NFL coaches yell at their teams and try to teach them with a sense of fear. James committing suicide made tony drede with insecurity for losing his son, and at the worst possible time too. James isn't the only antagonist in this story, Both Tony´s mom and dad both played a dreadful rule in this story. Tony lost both of his parents before they could see him play in the big game, Tony never did stop coaching, he knew that his parents would have wanted him to keep coaching.
