Toward the start of the chapter, the group was having a great time of their life, enjoying and exploring Hell. However, there were little incidents that happened such as the snake occurrence. There were many of them. Everyone was asleep. Ellie gets up in the middle of the night to go to the lavatory, yet when she was heading to the lavatory, she sees planes flying without any lights on in the dark and starry night. By morning, when everyone was awake and having breakfast Robyn mentioned the roaring noises of the planes she heard when she was still up. Robyn says, “ They just never stopped.... “Must have been hundreds” (39). According to Robyn everyone was asleep and it was just her and Lee that was up tallying the numbers of planes flying in the sky. Ellie said that she only saw six lots of them. Lee said, “ It’s probably the start of World War Three” (39). Fi thought they were just planes part of Commemoration Day celebration and now returning. Corrie concurs with what Lee said, she said that anything could happen in the outside world and they won’t even find out about it. They came up with a lot of possibilities of what the planes could mean. While they continued their conversation Ellie was getting a little edgy on what the planes could mean and it’s starting to give her a sentiment concern and worries. There are negative and positive possibilities of what the planes could mean. However, what exactly the planes signify? Is it really the start of World War Three or was it just the planes that were part of the Commemoration
