Tomi Ungerer: One Of The Designer In The 60's

The designer Tomi Ungerer is one of the top designers in the 60’s. He designed “ The Unlimited Legal Entertainment Experience” poster in 1967 for The Electric Circus Co. The Electric Circus Co. was a famous New York City nightclub/ discotheque located at St. Marks Place between 2nd & 3rd, East Village N.Y.C. The club experienced memorable performance including Ground Dead and The Velvet Underground. The Velvet Underground was a rock band that was active between 1965 and 1973. Unfortunately, the club was damaged by a bomb in the dance floor in 1970 then was closed a year later. Today the space is used as luxury redundancy apartments with Chipotle Mexican Grill fast food restaurant in the street level of the building
