Tom Wingfield - The protagonist of the play, was abandoned with his mother and older sister by their father a very long time ago. He works with his family in a warehouse but hates his future of having to work there for the rest of his life. Tom is more interested in becoming a poet and frequently uses writing to escape his current situation.
Laura Wingfield - Older sister to Tom, Laura who has become overly afraid of her appearance to the public due to her injured leg that causes her to permanently limp everywhere.
Amanda Wingfield - The mother of Tom and Laura, who is seen in the play trying to cling onto old favorable memories. She also tries to keep her social status afloat.
