The Complete Tom Sawyer, a collection of three of Mark Twain 's marvels left to this world, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,Tom Sawyer Abroad, and Tom Sawyer, Detective some of which are less known but deserve to be in every ones library. Each of these stories are slightly different in most aspects. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is located on the bank of the Mississippi, in St. Petersburg Missouri. Tom Sawyer Abroad as the name implies is set abroad, the characters spend the story traveling abroad but spends a lot of time in the arabian desert. Those characters are Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. Tom is only a boy in these stories, he has no desire to do chores or go to school. Tom spends much time exploring and being a boy, he also has a knack for getting out of work. Huckleberry is the son of the town drunk, he carries many of the same ideologies as Tom. No school. No chores. This makes Tom and Huck great friends and adventure buddies. Other characters that make big impacts are Injun Joe, Jim, Jubiter and Jake Dunlap. Injun Joe was a character in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, he killed a man, Dr.Robinson, in the cemetery, Tom saw him do it so Injun Joe was Tom’s enemy. Injun Joe kept chasing Tom throughout his adventures. Throughout the story Injun Joe adds suspense to Tom and Huck’s safety. Jim is much different that Injun Joe, Jim joined Tom and Huck on their adventures abroad. Jim got tangled up when all three boys were kidnapped by the professor to fly in a hot air balloon. After the professor fell out Jim is along for the ride with Tom and Huck on their adventure. and it is good because Tom and Huck rescued Jim a few times. Jubiter and Jake Dunlap twins, troublesome twins at that, are thieves from Tom Sawyer, Detective. Jake is a thief who stole two diamonds worth thousands of dollars, and Jubiter is a farm hand on Tom’s uncle 's farm, but he causes a lot of
