It’s the year 1935 and a black man named Tom Robinson is accused of raping a 19 year old girl named Mayella Ewell. He is sent to court and will be testified against until the judge finds out what happened. Miss Mayella lives with her father and seven younger siblings. Tom is 25 years old, lives with his wife, and their three children. Bob Ewell, the father of Mayella, is pretty mad about all this and he prefers to drink than help around the house. Tom works for Link Deas, by picking crops and plowing his fields. Mayella works around her house trying to help her family strive. There are two sides to this story which one will be believed.
