Tohru Honda is from the anime and manga series, Fruits Basket. First I'd like to say, I haven't finished re-reading the manga so I'll be talking about her in the anime, Tohru is introduced being an orphan, just recently loosing her Mother in a car accident. Her grandpa was the only one who offered her a home, but since his daughters family is moving in as well, the house needs renovations. So nowhere else to go she decides to pitch a tent in a forest til she can come back.

One day she comes across a house she never seen before, she walks up and sees cute row of rocks that is Zodiac animals has been painted on each. The owner, Shigure sees her and they talk about the Zodiac animals, she talks about how she likes the cat the most, in the tale,
