TodaysMeet is an easy-to-use, versatile digital tool to get collaboration going. It can help teachers embrace the backchannel and connect with your audience in real time. It can be used in pretty much any grade when the teachers want to encourage students to ask questions and make discussions, provide a place for ideas and more. I love this tool and so do my students. As a World Language teacher, it may seem obvious that a text-based tool would be useful. The best thing, however, is the level of engagement by my students. The students love seeing their comments up on the screen in class in the target language. I can save a transcript of our conversation to post on Edmodo for later reference, and to award participation credits. Some do find it challenging to follow both the presentation and the comment log concurrently.

Everything you add to your account is automatically synced and made available on all the computers, phones and tablets you use. There are so many different ways to utilize Evernote on different levels of students. The ability to add a picture or audio right within the notes allows for students to be able to build a digital portfolio that can be used to showcase learning. Another useful feature of this product is its search capabilities. I set up one folder for my classroom notes of students which I can then turn into a dedicated individual folder for my students.
