Todaysmeet
TodaysMeet is an easy-to-use, versatile digital tool to get collaboration going. It can help teachers embrace the backchannel and connect with your audience in real time. It can be used in pretty much any grade when the teachers want to encourage students to ask questions and make discussions, provide a place for ideas and more. I love this tool and so do my students. As a World Language teacher, it may seem obvious that a text-based tool would be useful. The best thing, however, is the level of engagement by my students. The students love seeing their comments up on the screen in class in the target language. I can save a transcript of our conversation to post on Edmodo for later reference, and to award participation credits. Some do find it challenging to follow both the presentation and the comment log concurrently.

Another useful feature of this product is its search capabilities. I set up one folder for my classroom notes of students which I can then turn into a dedicated individual folder for my students. I can see this on my phone or tablet instantly. The one challenge is that the Evernote is really meant for notes, it is not designed for large

When I was a chubby little freshman with glasses I thought to myself that high school would be one of the longest time periods of my life and that four years would feel like forty years. Countless of times, I find myself wishing I was born earlier. Maybe it is because I have an old soul. Therefore, the past has a special allure to me, and I often turn to it to escape from our grim, day to day reality. Even though I’m well aware of all the benefits of living in the present day, I still can’t help myself feeling nostalgic when visiting old castles, attending medieval fairs or even reading books about Ancient Rome, lost civilizations or myths and mythology. Something comes alive for me that is impossible to experience in the present day.…
