However I just want to let you know that Jesus was human also. Even though He was called to save sons and daughters of God, as other Israelites believed, maybe Jesus was only thought that he was called to save Israelites. But at this point, Jesus realized that faith belongs to all the people, whom are sons and daughters of God. Also by seeing this happening, we realize that we may face God’s harsh criticism also. As Jesus said, “Let the children be fed first, for it is not fair to take the children’s food and throw it to the dogs.” (v.27) Sometimes God wants us to act with faith. As scripture said, this woman immediately came to Jesus with faith whom she had heard the prophet of God. Even though Jesus rejeted her first, she had faith that Jesus still can do God’s work for her daughter. When Jesus met this faith, God interacted with Christ and made Christ to do God’s work. God wants to give more things to us. The heart of God is much bigger than the heart of ours that wishes to receive blessings. King David wrote in Psalm 30:5, says, “For his anger is but for a moment; his favour is for a lifetime.Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”
When people brought their family/friend/neighbor deaf person to Christ with faith that Jesus can heal, he made deaf to hear and the mute to speak. Lots of your friends and neighbors would be deaf and mute in spiritually. Go out and bring them back to Christ, ask Christ to work for them. Your faith will make you to be part of God’s wonderful works.
Today we will have communion. This is another act of faith. If you do not have faith, this will be just end up with bread and grape juice. But with faith, these elements becomes body and blood of Christ that cleansed us and saved us from sin and death. With faith, let’s
