Toco Toucans have interesting characteristics. They have a black colored body, a white colored throat, and a bright orange beak. Around their eyes, are a bright blue patch. Though their beak seams, heavy, its actually really light. They have amazingly strong feet and toes. A wide tail is used for balancing on tree branches. Toco Toucans eat a variety of food. Tocos are omnivores, meaning they eat both meat and plants. They use their beak to pluck and peel fruit. Fruit they eat includes figs, guavas, oranges, and peppers. Tocos have a flat tongue for easy prey catching. Some of their prey includes insects, frogs, reptiles, and the eggs of other birds. Toco Toucans live very interesting lives.
