According to World Health Organization, there are high costs related to re treating tobacco related diseases and tobacco users are less productive due to sickness. Tobacco use and its products vary by race, ethnicity, poverty status and levels of education. In addition, studies have shown that low and middle class income families and tobacco use are indissolubly linked. Reports reflect that that low and middle class income families use at least 10% of their household income for tobacco. For instance, all tobacco products and advertisements must have warning label of the effects. Also, it is now required that all ingredients found in the tobacco products have to be disclosed on the labels. Since second hand smoke is just as dangerous as using tobacco, many states in the United States have adopted the smoke free law; which protects non-tobacco users from exposure. This law limits where tobacco can be used and is prohibited from public places such as restaurants work place and hospitals.
