The doll of the high school, Princess, was going crazy because she had just realized she needed to submit an essay to her teacher before tomorrow’s prom. The only person she knew who could help was Toad, the biggest geek in the entire high school. Thus, Princess, the most popular girl in high school, needed the assistance of a geek for a school paper. She had to go to the school prom with him since she’d promised, however, Princess realized this geek was truly special after all.
Princess asked Toad to help her with her essay, but Toad had a few requirements: Princess needed to promise to sit next to him at lunch, and she must go with him to the prom tomorrow night. Reluctantly, Princess agreed. Toad helped her with her essay …show more content…
To be escorted by a geek (especially Toad) to the prom would ruin her reputation. Toad knocked on her window, Princess just ignored it. She couldn’t be seen with this geek. Princess texted her friend to find out if she could help. Her friend only texted back unkind remarks about how she shouldn’t have promised in the first place. Frustrated, Princess finally left the car with Toad and went into the prom. She could just imagine the numerous posts her friends would put on social media from this incident. Once inside, Princess couldn’t wait to get away from Toad. She noticed a few of her friends in the corner laughing together. She decided she would talk to them for a while. Princess started walking that way, hoping Toad would just leave her alone. At last she reached her friends, to her surprise Toad hadn’t followed her. Princess didn’t care, she enjoyed sitting and laughing with all her popular friends. When she turned her head toward the dance floor, she suddenly noticed Toad dancing with somebody, and dancing incredibly well. Surprised, she found herself getting out of her seat and walking onto the dance floor. Toad stood right in front of her and smiled, then held out his hand to her. They started dancing together. Princess would never have thought the biggest geek in the school happened to also be the best dancer. She was astounded that this was the same guy she had been disgusted to sit next to at lunch earlier that day. Princess was sure she now had the eyes of every girl in the school on her again, and all because she needed to go to the prom with the biggest geek, but, also the best dancer in the entire high
