The Holocaust
Millions of people died during this tragic event. The Holocaust occurring approximately during the years of 1933 until 1945 took the lives of an estimated 1.1 million Jewish children and 11 million adults. The Holocaust has had a major affect on the world today. But the questions are, just how has it affected the world? Who is to blame for this horrific event? why did it occur? How many people survived and how many people lost their lives? And where did it take place? The Holocaust is a major event in history that all people should be made aware of, to teach us to stand up for ourselves and keep us from repeating the past. The Holocaust has had many affects on the world from years ago up until today. Some economies have suffered because a large amount because a lot of their population was Jewish. Was it Hitler? or the Jews? Or Germany? Most people would probably assume that Hitler is to blame for it. Although Hitler is mainly responsible for the horrific event he is not solely to blame. There other contributors such as other Germans and non Germans who benefitted from what was called the “Final Solution”. The Final Solution was the term used by the Nazis for their plan to Destroy the Jewish people. Other people who helped with the plan are the German Government, military, and Nazis Party officials. All of these people planned and made policies aimed at the jews persecuting them and murdering them. Many of them were “ordinary” people such as, Civil servants, doctors, lawyers, judges, soldiers, and railroad workers all played a role in the Holocaust. Although Hitler may have been the man behind the idea of the Holocaust he wasn’t the only one to put the plan into
