Firstly, when teens drive they gain a sense of responsibility. This feeling starts to set up the buildings block from which they will live the rest of their lives. It does not matter at what age you start whether it's 16 or 35 if your starting out, your going to be just as likely to get in a wreck as everyone else. Further more, if the legal driving age was changed to 21 all that would happen is that the amount of deaths in a certain group would be moved over to 21 year olds. Keeping the driving age the same would allow teens to gain experience and develop their driving skills. Like many teens I know, since they are starting out early they will be given the time necessary to practice their skills, so when they start driving everyday they will be accustomed to everyday driving challenges and obstacles. That is the reason the legal driving age should not be changed, because it would only divert the problem somewhere else. It would also give teens the time to get used to driving out in the real
