To What Extent Should Men Be Liable For The Wellbeing Of A Child

If two adults are in a relationship and the female would like to have a child, the male should be liable for the wellbeing of the child if the father discloses no desire for a child. Both adults have consented to sexual intercourse which led to a child being conceived. One third of children born in America grow up without a biological father in the household. This leaves the child in the care of the mother. In a situation where there are two parties who have fully disclosed the desire to conceive and nurture a child then both parties should be liable for the well being of the children. If there is a situation where the male fully discloses to the female that the desire is not shared and the mother decides to continue the pregnancy, the male is still liable.

It takes two to come together and create a baby both made the decision to have sexual intercourse. Even if the man fully discloses there is no desire for a child and the mother continues with the pregnancy, the father is still accountable for engaging in sexual activities. Every one out of three children grows up in a one parent household due to the father not being present in the life. If the man does not want a baby, there should have preventions such as condoms or made sure that the woman is on birth control pill. A mother should not have to force a father to take care of the child, regardless of the fact that he did not want a child. A man always supposed to evaluate a woman to see if that is really a person he wants to get involved
