In my home state of Mississippi, we have not had many laws passed, which are named in honor of crime victims. One of the most recent laws of this nature would be what is known as “Nathan’s Law”, named in honor of Nathan Key, who had been struck and killed by a vehicle, as he exited a school bus at his house. This incident occurred in Jones County, Mississippi on December 11, 2009, and Nathan was five years old at the time of his death. College Should Be Free Bob Samuels in his article claims that all public higher education should be free, and the policy even could save money for our country. Samuels states that everyone who studies in colleges or universities is paying more right now than what they actually need for school; as a result, it causes low graduation rates for schools. Also, Samuels states that the reason why students drop out of higher education is that they cannot afford the higher cost of tuition, so making public higher education free is necessary. If many students go to colleges, fewer people would be unemployed and in need of governmental assistance, therefore our government can save more money for other needed services. What’s more is that Samuels thinks…

Healthcare should be free because some people can not pay for a visit. Someone can be really ill and need a trip to the doctors but it is expensive to pay for it. There are times i’ve seen where adults and/or children have been in car accidents and those people result in being hurt. It is not those people’s fault that someone else caused an accident and so therefore there should be healthcare for those type of people who aren’t really the cause of an injury. If people have and can afford health care then those people have a better chance to be living their lives healthier knowing that they get checked up and there is really nothing to worry about.…
