Due to the actions of Frederick with trusting the order, it caused some other rulers to look upon the Order with good favor. The king of Hungary chose to enlist in the Orders help, he gifted them land that was desolate, impoverished, and was basically a dessert (Teutonic). The Order was able to bring people to the land, they made the soil fertile and the land was thriving, it was then that the King of Hungary took advantage of the Order, he took the land back from the Order since it was fixed (Teutonic). Under the rule of the King the land had fallen in ruin once again, so the king, in a last resort, gifted the land back to the order once again. The order, not wanting to be taken advantage of, quickly set up their own form of government on the re-gifted land so that the King cannot take it back from them once again (Teutonic). The Duke of Poland heard of the Order and called upon them for help with dealing with unruly, barbaric, and savage pagan people. The Grandmaster consulted with the Emperor and the Duke and they came to the agreement that any land they were able to take from the savages the order could keep (Teutonic). Pope Gregory IX, in 1230 gave his okay for the Order to proceed with an expedition, and with that the Kingdom of Prussia was beginning to exist. Even though the moral was low, what kept many people happy and proud was that the education in Prussia was considered the best, the University of Berlin had an unparalleled reputation (The Editors). When Frederick William IV took to the throne he had a certain romanticism about him, he was the first King of Prussia to visit the Roman-Catholic buildings of his land, he also ended conflict with Roman Catholic church (The Editors). Though Frederick IV was against a modern constitutionalism, he was aspired to create Estates of the Realm on a medieval pattern (The Editors). After the German revolution broke out following the French revolution Prussia finally made their own constitution, even though the constitution was considered quite inadequate. It created two chambers and separated the people into three classes of different amounts of taxpayers (The Editors). Even though the constitution had problems, just having one was able to change how different countries saw Prussia, such as Austria (The Editors). Prussia’s defeat of Austria during the Seven Weeks War, and the defeat of France finally led to the unification of Germany and took France off from being the leading superpower at the time and showed that Prussia had what
