Can murder ever be justified?
I believe that murder could be justified.Although murder is almost always illegal it could still be justifiable. Even then only under certain circumstances and conditions. Of the ways it can be justified only two can be used to define whether its right or wrong. It can be morally justifiable or legally justifiable. The former being considered as if what you did was the right thing to do. While the latter on the other hand being what is considered being right by law, tried upon by judge and jury.
In order for murder to be morally justifiable, there are still conditions that have to be met.
If it is committed in an act of rage, vengeance or even on a sudden whim, it would be neither morally or legally justifiable. Over the years unjustifiable murder cases have been piling up in the justice system. Cases similar to the one featured in the play Medea have been sprouting up long before law and morality were even considered in the matter. In the play, Medea is a woman who has essentially gone insane with the pure essence of revenge after her husband left her for the princess of Corinth, Glauce, after which she decides to kill her ex husband,Jason's new wife Glauce(kills the king, Creon in the process), and ultimately her two young sons. …show more content…
