The meaning of this visual is that even though these people come off as dangerous, they’re not, they’re actually good people. Basically saying that you can’t judge a book by its cover. But because of the way the world makes us seem, by looking at this photo, they would think that they are from the ghetto and that they’re uneducated. There are many details on the cover of Kendrick Lamar's album, To Pimp a Butterfly, which many people may not notice at first. If you take a closer look at the cover, you will see that there is a white judge dead on the ground. I believe Kendrick Lamar did this to relate to the lack of justice that African Americans have been receiving when it comes to the court of law. Another detail that Kendrick added to this
