In the book “To Kill a Mockingbird”, it has a lot to do with power I think power is having what other people want, this could be money, help, or just strength. This story is mostly about the trial on Tom Robinson and Mayella, Mayella wins the court case and Tom Robinson is convicted. People look at others by their class, gender, and race. Mayella is powerless because of her class and gender but her race makes her powerful.
All in all Mayella is powerless because of her low class. Mayella and her family lives behind the town garbage dump and her house is really dirty and rundown.
