To kill a mockingbird, written by Nelle Harper Lee is considered a "timeless" novel. One of the best novels written on America's best classics stories list. It is a journey that Jem, Scout, Dill and Atticus go through that includes a trial, a scary figure, a ham costume and racism. People go through expriences that cause lives to change Scout and Jem realized the truth of the world and their lost of innocence through a trial, church and Tom's verdict
