To Kill A Mockingbird Exemplify Courage

I believe that the characters that best exemplify courage are Jem, Scout, Dill, and Atticus. The reason i believe that they exemplify courage is because they have all shown a bit of courage throughout the book. For example, Jem and Dill were able to walk up to The Radleys’ house even though they were scared. Another example, Scout was willing to talk to Boo Radley even though she thought he was dangerous. And finally, Atticus showed courage by shooting Tim Johnson. All of these events needed courage, and they all had it. Courage is defined in this novel as the ability to be brave even when you’re scared. I think that Harper Lee showed this really well.
