In this paragraph I will be characterizing. A character in this book that has two different sides to him is Jace Wayland. A personality of Jace is that he tends to act very arogant. An example of when this occurred is that he tries to make very smart remarks to others when they try to bring up a serious discussion. Jace usually does this to get out of awkward conversations. Jace is also arrogant in the case that he attempts to accomplish more than he can handle and has to have everything his way. Multiple times Jace tried to get others to lie so that he could have it his way, although in most cases it was for the safety and protection of others. He also tries to use his sarcasticness as a defense mechanism, which comes off very arrogant
