To Kill A Mockingbird Courage Research Paper

Courage Courage is always occurring in the book To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Each of the characters has very unique personalities; the majority of the characteristics is courage. To say one character has more courage than another is very debatable and what I think is very inaccurate. From the beginning of the book to end of part 1 every character has showed signs of courage. For me I strongly believe that Scout is displays the most occurring courage of any character. Scout shows the most constant display of courage out of every main character. Early in the book Scout shows that she filled with courage. On the first day of school Scout quickly becomes an influence in her class. She informs Miss Caroline of Walter Cunningham's situation.

Many people presume that courage is simply a person who accomplishes a grand feat rather than having the quality of mind that enables a person to face difficulty or danger without fear. However, true courage depends on the eyes of the beholder. Courage is many things. Slyly embodied in both reticent and vital characters, Harper Lee in To Kill a Mockingbird and Reginald Rose in 12 Angry Men both create a broad representation of courage. In both works of literature, the idea of courage that is being conveyed is the ability to do something that one knows is right or gracious, even though it is extremely difficult.…
