The theme courage has been built in many different ways and in many different situations throughout the first eleven chapters of the book”To Kill a Mockingbird”. There was a part in the beginning of the story that was a very interesting piece of courage (Lee, 1960, p. 18). It was on page 18 where the kids were at the radley's house was a different kind of courage. There is the type where you gain the strength to do something that you were scared which is moral courage. Then there is a different type which is basically where you are forced to do something which is immature courage.
