Should Trump build a wall between the Border of the United States and Mexico? Although a fence on the border is already there, some people of our nation believe the new wall will secure our nation's safety more. My opinion is based on the cons of building a wall along the border between the United States and Mexico. I think the wall should not be built because it has been said that, the idea to build a wall is stupid and ignorant. To elaborate, the president and his supporters came up with the idea to build the wall, yet they want to force Mexico to pay for it. Even though many people say that building a wall 35 to 40 feet high and over 1,000 miles long, will help protect our nation, they are wrong. This ignorant idea to build a wall, will only be a waste of time, money, and resources that will do more harm than good, which will not help our nation prosper. To add, we can better the wall just by using such methods as effective walls, using sophisticated monitoring, or employment restrictions. According to this information, this proves that those who say building this “impenetrable wall” will help our nation are wrong. This information clearly shows that if we want better ways to restrict access to get into our nation, instead of building a new wall, we should better the wall and security we already have.
